Christopher is a senior advisor based in Paris. He supports private equity funds and executive teams in strategic simplification, value creation, cash generation and sustainable profitability improvement, primarily in the industrial, energy, and B2B services sectors.
From July 2018 to October 2025, as CEO of Nexans, Christopher led a deep transformation of the group, combining complexity reduction, disciplined capital allocation, and portfolio refocusing. Under his leadership, Nexans achieved a structural improvement in profitability, strong free-cash flow generation, and significant revaluation, despite a volatile economic and industrial environment.
Before becoming CEO of Nexans in 2018, he held various commercial and marketing roles within international industrial groups, notably at Alcatel, and later at Nexans, which he joined in 2007. His operational and strategic experience enables him to lead complex, rapid transformations, particularly in situations where portfolios are under constraint.
Leaders today face sharper trade‑offs than ever. My role is to help them turn complexity into clarity — and clarity into cash, profit, and long‑term performance
His approach is based on a clear operational conviction: in tighter markets, sustainable value creation relies less on extensive growth and more on strategic clarity, portfolio simplification, and rigorous execution of cash and profit levers. At Oliver Wyman, he works alongside teams to advise investors and leaders on short- and medium-term value-creation situations.
Christopher holds degrees from ESDE Sup and INSEAD. He is the author of “Pour aller dans le bon sens“ (Le Cherche-Midi, 2023), and the creator of the E3 model (Economy, Environment, Engagement), whose application at Nexans was documented in a business case published by HEC Paris.
